Abstract

The drawbacks of RD 34.45-51.300-97 “Scope and Norms of Tests of Electrical Equipment,” which concern the control over the insulation of oil-filled entrance bushings and instrument current transformers at operating voltages are considered. Recommendations on choosing an efficient diagnostics technique that would eliminate the possibility of errors are proposed.
