Abstract

In today's life, compact antennas are required for wireless communication systems so that they are capable for operating at different frequencies. Space filling and self-similarity property of fractal antennas makes them one of the most useful antennas and they are also know for there multiband properties and size reduction characteristics. The recent study shows that fractal antenna structures have their own specific characteristics that improve some important properties when compared with low profile antennas. In the field of science and engineering, use of fractal geometries have significantly wallop many areas; out of which one is antennas. The features of antennas improve with the use of fractal geometries to varying extents. Analysis of Swastika slot patch on a tilted square metasurface has been proposed in this paper. The antenna proposed is of low profile with easy fabrication and wideband characteristics with lightweight, has been successfully demonstrated. Analysis of fractal antenna was done by using IE3D Software.
