Abstract

1. The method of quantitative stereofractographic analysis based on producing stereopairs by the method of plane-parallel shift of the specimen is simpler, has higher operating properties, and requires less work than in convergent survey and, consequently, is more productive with other conditions being equal. 2. To apply the method in practice it is not necessary to use high-precision goniometric devices. This greatly simplifies the technical aspect and reduces the cost of the measurements.
