Abstract

This study aimed to determine the description of the implementation of the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) regarding the completeness of the medical records filling of inpatients installation unit at Stella Maris Hospital in Makassar. The research method was a quantitative method, which was a descriptive observation. It was conducted by observing, distributing questionnaires and interviewing respondents. The sample consisted of 52 doctors who worked in Stella Hospital and were categorized by age, sex, education and the length of the working period. The results of the study showed that the perception of the respondents regarding the standard operating procedures provided and implemented had not been classified as decent. Respondents who had decent perceptions were only 9 respondents (17.3%) while those with poor perceptions were 43 respondents (82.7%). The implementation of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) toward completing the filling of medical records at Stella Maris Hospital is still categorized as not yet maximally implemented.
