Abstract

Filter capacitor is the main source of noise in converter station. It is of great significance to study the noise radiation characteristics of filter capacitor and put forward noise reduction measures. Based on the theory of elasticity and considering the structural characteristics of power capacitor, this paper reasonably simplifies the structure of power capacitor, and establishes a three-dimensional sound radiation model of power capacitor with sound structure coupling by using finite element and boundary element method. Taking the electric field force of the capacitor under the action of harmonic as the excitation, the vibration and noise of the capacitor are solved, and the vibration characteristics of the capacitor and the spatial distribution characteristics of different frequency noise in the far-field region are analyzed. The noise level of AC filter in an 800kV HVDC converter station is measured. The accuracy of the simulation model is verified by comparing the measured data with the model calculation data.
