Abstract
As a new demand-side management technology, electric spring can effectively suppress the bus voltage fluctuation and is widely used in microgrids. As a power electronic device, the connection of the electric spring to the grid will affect the system stability. For the DC microgrid system, this paper analyzes the stability of the system with DC electric spring(DCES). Constructed a small signal model of DCES. Factors affecting stability are studied in terms of line length, load, and number of DCESs. Then, for the system with multiple DCESs, the effects of the droop coefficient and the distance of the DCESs on the stability are also studied. The results are verified in simulation.
