AbstractThis chapter dwells principally on the analysis of communication signals from many points of view: Energy/power of a signal; the concept of convolution applied to LTI systems; treatment of periodic and aperiodic signals using the Fourier series and Fourier transforms; signal distortion, when the signal is passed through different kinds of systems; and the Hilbert transform.
