Analysis of relationship between the dynamics of civil identity and perception of the organizational environment of the state

Abstract

Due to the trend towards globalization of society, more and more people are leaving their home countries, leaving in search of a better life or work. However, with a change in the environment, there follows a change in the personal life and psyche of a person. That gives rise to such consequences as problems with adaptation, culture shock, changes in the system of values, as well as changes in the awareness of oneself as a citizen of one’s country. Often there is such a phenomenon as borderline iden- tity – when a person is on the verge of his old and new values, is no longer a member of the former so- ciety, but has not yet joined the new. This problem is so widespread that it necessitates a more detailed examination of the issue of the dynamics of civic identity among migrants. The main goal of the article is to establish the reasons for this dynamics and to determine the factors that influence the formation of a person’s civic identity. Many scientists are working on this issue, each of whom makes a significant con- tribution to the understanding of this phenomenon, in particular, the works of such researchers as N.V. Khazratova, I.R. Petrovskaya, A.S. Reznik are known. and others. We consider civic identity as a ratio of the values and needs of an individual with the ideology of the state as an organizational apparatus, as well as with self-awareness of oneself as a citizen of this country. The scientific value of the work lies in the establishment of factors in the formation of civic identity, and factors affecting its dynamics. We consider not only the very fact of the existence of civic identity, but also the peculiarities of its influence on the life of the individual and her relations with the state. The practical significance of the results of the work is manifested in the expediency of introducing its results in the development of: 1) civic education programs; 2) work programs with the adaptation of migrants to the conditions of the new organizational environment.
