Abstract

Kunliulong DC project is the first UHV hybrid multi-terminal DC project in the world. The reliability of its valve control system is directly related to the operation stability of the DC project. This paper analyzes the DC trip event caused by the power failure of the pulse box of the valve control system, determines the root cause of the event, proposes the rectification measures based on the accident causes, and carries out the test verification. The proposed scheme has been successfully applied to the Longmen converter station of the Kunming Liulong Project. The conclusions and measures in this paper have important reference significance for the design of the valve control system of flexible and direct engineering and for guiding the engineering practice.
