Abstract

With the rapid development of media technology, the online public opinion about the Chongqing Bush Fire has continued to ferment with the changing situation of the event and even influenced the development of the event to a certain extent. This paper takes central media, Chongqing local media and we media as the research objects, and compares and analyzes the different strategies and characteristics of every communication subject for the guidance of online public opinion, hoping to provide useful reference for media practitioners in the future guidance of online public opinion, in order to play a positive role of social media in the process of information and social communication.
