Abstract

This article presents the control design and operation improvement of molten carbonate fuel-cell power-generation systems using dynamic simulation. More specifically, in this study the goal of the control design is to select the normal or high temperature fuel-flow control valves, and the goal of the operation improvement is to reduce the dynamic interactions between the fuel cell and reformer.
