Abstract
Land subdivision is considered as one of the early stages in the land development process, where white land is transfered into urban land in preparation for development at least from the legal point of view- A number of factors control the subdivision process, most important is regulations which govern land subdivision in urban and rural areas. Despite the importance of subdivision regulations which are also considered as one of the significant measures of land policy, yet there is insufficient research on this issue. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyse land subdivision regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, first is to gather these regulations from their resources, second is to examine the issues tackled in them, which forIm the legislative framework for land subdivision.
