Abstract
As a slot resonant antenna, coaxial slot antenna has been widely used in the medical industry, such as microwave hyperthermia, to treat diseased tissue. And because of its advantages of integration, simple erection and low cost, coaxial slot antennas are also popular in the field of broadcast and television transmission. In general, we divide the coaxial slot antenna into coaxial transverse slot antenna and coaxial longitudinal slot antenna. And in this paper, the basic model of coaxial slot antenna is simulated and its impedance and radiation characteristics are analyzed to guide the design of television broadcast antennas.
