Abstract

In order to study the stability of the high slope after multi-stage excavation support by rainwater infiltration under different rainfall conditions, relying on the high slope project of the First People’s Hospital of Dazhou City, Sichuan, and the method of combining numerical analysis and on-site monitoring were adopted, based on ABAQUS software, the role of different rainfall intensity and different rainfall duration was considered, the conceptual model of high slope supported by multi-stage excavation under rainfall conditions was established, and the calculation method of multi-layer unsaturated soil was introduced, and then the stability of the slope of unsaturated soil was summarized, and the pore water pressure and pore water pressure were obtained. The volumetric water content was positively correlated with rainfall intensity and rainfall duration, and the influence of long-term high-intensity rainfall on the high slope supported by multi-stage excavation, the maximum shear stress of the soil increased, and the displacement at the top and foot of the slope was large, which was easy to produce damage instability, which was consistent with the actual situation. The effect of rainfall intensity on slope stability is revealed, which can provide a theoretical reference for the study of high slope stability supported by multi-layer excavation.
