Abstract

Photovoltaic energy storage microgrid power generation system is composed of photovoltaic equipment and energy storage equipment. As an important part of photovoltaic storage microgrid power generation system, photovoltaic panels are vulnerable to electromagnetic pulse interference. High power electromagnetic pulse is coupled into the power supply system through photovoltaic panels, which generates induced current and then could cause the serious damage to the photovoltaic energy storage microgrid power generation system. Based on the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method, this paper analyzes the coupling effect of high power electromagnetic pulse to the photovoltaic panel. The damage mechanism of photovoltaic panels are analyzed qualitatively, which could facilitate the study of the electromagnetic protection design of photovoltaic energy storage microgrid power generation system.
