Abstract
Frequency is an important indicator of the safe and stable operation of the power system. Due to the current investment in large capacity generating units and the power fluctuation of new energy sources in the network, the composition of the system is more complicated and the diversity and unpredictability of the changing factors. In this paper, the primary frequency modulation mode of power system is introduced, and the static stability in large power grid is analyzed. The relationship between power shortfall and frequency variation is studied when the degree of load variation is small. The conjecture is analyzed and verified by the measured data of a large power grid. The actual large-scale power grid dispatching and predicting the safe and stable operation of the power grid provide the possibility of using the frequency space to absorb new energy sources.
