Abstract
Abstract Scheme for treatment of the activity indices aimed at the study the QBV of the solar and geomagnetic activity is proposed and its efficiency is shown. Analysis of the moments of the QBV extrema suggests that the QBV in various geomagnetic and solar indices manifest similar behavior.
