Abstract

This paper gives about the prevention of electromagnetic (EM) effects and estimated the EMI of an axially ruptured coaxial power cable of 20 kV and 220 kV and studied the ruptured coaxial cable rigorously in an electrostatic domain and time-varying analysis domain with different slot angles. First, we design the coaxial power cable with different slot angles in COMSOL Consequently, here extracted the electric field distributions of the cable with different slot angles. It was concluded that the assessment outcome gives the information to alleviate electromagnetically associated problems.
