Abstract
Poverty is a problem in a complex and multidimensional economy. Therefore, it is necessary to find solutions to overcome or at least reduce the level of poverty. This research aims to analyze the influence of the level of economic growth and the labor force on the level of poverty in the province of North Sumatra. This research is a type of quantitative research because the data used in the research is data in the form of numbers, from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in the form of time series from 2001 to 2021. The author uses library search tools, document research and internet browsing, where the data taken is secondary data from the relevant agency. especially the North Sumatra Central Statistics Agency and analyzed the data using multiple regression analysis techniques using the eviews program.
