Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) has recently become an innovation for the development of intelligent environments. Security and privacy are seen as major issues in any technology's reliance on the IoT model. Privacy and security issues arise due to the various possible attacks caused by intruders. Therefore, it is essential to develop an intrusion detection system to identify attacks and anomalies in the IoT system. In this work, we have investigated the state of art DDOS attack detection techniques and also find the inadequacy in those methods. To overcome that confine, we have recommended an optimal methodology that is based on the deep learning technology, which will effectively detect existing DDOS attacks as well as zero-day attacks.
