Abstract

The training process is a fundamental issue in sports, especially in high performance. Know the activities, techniques, and tools used to help athletes develop skills, knowledge, and attitudes to improve their performance and achieve their sporting goals. This process implies the planning and execution of specific training programs and attention to psychological and emotional aspects. Therefore, qualitative research methods were considered, and interviews with semi-structured questions were applied to six Guayaquil Soccer Institute soccer area teachers to verify the impact of the continuous training of coaches regarding the set of contents oriented in the process of soccer player training. As a result, it was possible to determine that formative football contributes to the integral development of footballers in technical-tactical, physical, and psychological aspects to develop their full potential.
