Abstract

Pedestrian Bridge (JPO) is one of the infrastructure facilities for pedestrians whose provision is for pedestrian safety so that they can cross the road safely. However, the People Pedestrian Bridge in Indonesia has not received enough attention, especially from the government, so that many facilities that should have been available have become unavailable. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the characteristics of pedestrians who use the pedestrian bridge, as well as to find out whether the current physical condition is in accordance with the guidelines of the Bina marga so that further reconstruction can be carried out if the pedestrian bridge does not meet the requirements. In this study the method used is the method of calculating the effectiveness, The data was obtained from distributing questionnaires to the surrounding community at the pedestrian bridge on Jl. Sultan Agung, Kranji, Bekasi. Furthermore, the data from the questionnaire results, validity testing, reliability, and correlation tests using the SPSS version 25 software. The results of the analysis for seven days showed the number of pedestrians was 5863 people and this shows that the total effectiveness of the pedestrian bridge is 61.70 %, and based on this calculation shows the result that the pedestrian bridge is Jl. Sultan Agung, Kranji, Bekasi is included in the effective category.The results of data analysis on the IPA method show that the level of suitability based on the level of satisfaction and the level of importance is in the very good category, this is indicated by the suitability value of 89.9%. Furthermore, the results of this study also indicate that several factors in the Jl. Sultan Agung, Kranji, Bekasi which does not comply with the pedestrian bridge design requirements, one of which is the steep slope of the stairs.
