Abstract
The Pierre Auger Observatory (PAO) team recently reported the large-scale anisotropy of cosmic rays detected in the energy range above 8 EeV ([Formula: see text] eV). In this paper, the same phenomenon is studied using a different method applied to the data from the Yakutsk array and to the subset of open-access EAS events provided by the PAO collaboration. As a result, the present observation of the single separable source of cosmic rays is confirmed by the independent method, and additional possibilities appear for in-depth analysis of the anisotropy details in subsequent investigations.
