Analysis of a Detergent Product and Identification with an Infrared Absorption Spectrum and a Reflectance Graph

Abstract

One of the used methods for characterizing thin films of materials is UV-Vis absorption [1], using a diffuse reflectance spectrum [2]. While the technique is simple it is seldom used for detergent solutions. The creation of the tauc plot for the indirect allowed transition for the band gap calculation in a liquid detergent is a research area that has not been explored before. Electronic transitions are direct and indirect [3].
