Abstract
Tamate combined together the inclusion and straight crack problem and obtained the solution of the problem in series form. This chapter discusses the problem of misfitting inclusionand circular arc cracks in a sheet. It presents the analytical solution of the problem in series form and by the use of complex variable approach of Muskhelishvili. The chapter discusses the complex potentials for the plate and for the inclusion.
