Abstract

With the continuous advancement of the power system reform, the continuous liberalization of incremental power distribution business has a significant impact on power supply enterprises operating with incremental distribution networks (IDN) in the region. How to scientifically evaluate the market competitiveness of this type of power supply enterprises has become a problem need to be solved urgently. First of all, a Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats (SWOT) analysis on the power supply enterprises is conducted in this paper. Then, an evaluation index system for market competitiveness is built. On this basis, the random forest algorithm is used to screen the indexes so that a more scientific and concise evaluation index system is obtained. In addition, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and the entropy weight method (EWM) are used to comprehensively weight the evaluation indexes, and then the constructed market competitiveness evaluation model is used to perform specific calculations and analysis on two municipal power supply enterprises, verifying the effectiveness and reliability of the model. The research results can provide a basis for the development of market competitiveness of regional power supply enterprises.
