Abstract

In recent years, power electronics technology has promoted the rapid development of the switching power supply industry, and improving the power density of the system while reducing the loss has become an urgent problem in the field of switching power supply. The number and volume of passive components in the system will decrease and the power density will increase when the operating frequency of switching power supply increases. However, high operating frequency will also increase the system loss. In order to optimize the efficiency characteristics of the system at high operating frequency, this paper analyzes and derives the half-bridge CLCL converter, analyzes its voltage gain characteristics, impedance Angle characteristics, then explains its soft switching characteristics. In the last experiment, a prototype with output voltage of 40V and output power of 80W was built to verify the correctness of theoretical analysis of CLCL circuit and the rationality of circuit topology design.
