Abstract
The pollen analysis of two deposits respectively situated in Tet and Tech river-basin, at the eastern part of pyrenean chain, shows the general features of the vegetation evolution of these SW-NE oriented valleys, and allows a compaison with those of Aude river-basin, in north slope. In spite of different present climatic features, these parallel valleys have had about the same paleosylvatic evolution marked by développement of fir at the Atlantic period and beech at Subboreal period. The mediterranean climate appears as the determinant agent of this evolution which is found very different of that of Aude river-basin.
