Abstract

"The topic of this article is a reflection on the effectiveness of the analysis of word processes in the acquisition of specialised terms. The development of linguistic competence at a higher level of proficiency involves confronting this type of vocabulary. The study described in the article will show that a thorough analysis of affixes, compounds or linguistic calques in specialised terms facilitates the discovery and memorisation of their meaning. It is worth using it as one of the teaching techniques."
