Abstract

Situation Awareness (SA) or situational awareness is a perception or response of a person to be able to understand the condition of a state of the surrounding environment. Situational awareness of AMC officers is very important because it can affect the performance of officers and affect the success in carrying out duties and responsibilities in the field. The purpose of this research was to reveal the application of situation awareness of AMC officers and efforts to increase situation awareness at Adi Soemarmo Boyolali International Airport. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely the data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data is data collection through observation and field interviews, while secondary data is indirect data sources such as literature studies and previous research references. The results of this study can be concluded that the level of situational awareness possessed by AMC officers from a level 1-3 scale is already at level 3, because officers can understand the work situation well and effectively around their work environment, so situational awareness of AMC officers is already at level 3 Level 3 is the highest SA level where AMC officers can predict and understand the conditions that will occur related to their work and carry out risk mitigation.
