Abstract
The problem of this research is about the use of adverb in the opinion article of Kompas newspaper. The aim of this research is to describe the use of adverb in opinion articles of Kompas. The method of this research is a qualitative research. The data sources of this research is an opinion article of Kompas. The results of this research shows that the use of adverb is exist in the opinion article of Kompas. It is used productively by the writer with the purpose is for broadening the sentence and clarifying the writer intention. An adverb in opinion article of Kompas.
