Abstract
This research discusses the analysis of PAUD teachers' pedagogical competencies based on educational background. This research aims to determine the educational background of teachers. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were teachers at Mutiara Bunda Kindergarten, Bassiang Village. The analysis used is Data Reduction, Data Display and Conclusion Drawing. The results of this research show that: 1). In class A1 teachers who have a bachelor's educational background in Islamic religious education and have additional competencies, namely Training to Increase Insight into Early Childhood Education and Technical Guidance for GEBRAK PAUD (Early Childhood Education Transition Movement), in class A2 teachers who have an educational background Bachelor's degree in English and has never attended any training. Class B teachers are high school graduates and additional competency is training to increase insight into early childhood education. 2). The obstacles experienced by teachers when teaching based on educational background at Mutiara Bunda Kindergarten in Bassiang Village include obstacles faced by teachers in mastering the material, obstacles faced by teachers in using teaching aids, obstacles faced by teachers in using appropriate teaching methods, obstacles faced by teachers in managing the class.
