Analisis Kinerja Keuangan Berdasarkan Metode Common Size Pada PT. Sulotco Jaya Abadi Periode 2017-2020

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance based on the common size method at PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi for the 2017-2020 period in terms of the balance sheet and income statement. This research design uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The data source used is secondary data. The data analysis technique uses common size analysis and trend analysis. The results showed that the common size in terms of balance sheet, PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi's Financial Performance using common size analysis when viewed from liabilities and equity, the company's financial performance was not very good. When compared with the company's equity, the amount of debt is higher than capital, so it can be concluded that the company will find it increasingly difficult to pay off its debts, especially short-term debt because the capital owned is quite low. Financial Performance of PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi using common size analysis when viewed from the income statement it can be concluded that the company's ability to generate profits is very low. It is proven that in 2017 the company still made a profit, but in 2018 to 2020 the company suffered a fairly high loss. This happened because the company's cost of goods sold was too high.
