Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. This study aims to describe students' creative thinking abilities in solving math problems. The research was conducted at SMPK Sint. Vianney Soe with research subjects consisting of 2 subjects with high mathematical abilities. The instrument in this study used a creative thinking ability test (TKBK) and an interview guide. The results of this study indicate that: there is one subject who is able to fulfill the three aspects of creative thinking, namely fluency, flexibility and novelty. As for one subject that only fulfills two aspects of creative thinking, namely aspects of fluency and flexibility.
