Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of physics teachers and students for simple teaching aids in training students' science process skills. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted in 3 high schools, namely SMAN 07 Bengkulu City, SMA 09 Bengkulu City and SMAN 04 Bengkulu City. This research has subjects, namely students, teachers, and curriculum representatives. In this study, collected data using a questionnaire and interview guidelines. Data analysis uses an interactive model from Miles-Huberman. Data validity uses source triangulation. The conclusion of this study is the need for simple teaching aids in training students' science process skills, especially in the material of straight motion, circular motion, and free fall motion.Keywords: analysis, simple props, science process skills
