Abstract
State High School 1 Sumbawa Besar is one of the schools located in Sumbawa Besar, NTB which has the problem of limited parking spaces that do not adequately accommodate two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles so that researchers analyze the characteristics and needs of parking spaces with the aim of obtaining the results of calculating the characteristics and needs of parking spaces. The method used is the Technical Guidelines for the Provision of Parking Space Facilities, Transportation Department 2012. Based on the research conducted, the results of the available parking space capacity at SMA N 1 Sumbawa Besar are only 114 plots of two-wheeled vehicles, while the results of the volume of analysis of parked vehicles require 122 SRP, so the researcher offers a solution in the form of parking space design of 122 SRP for two-wheeled vehicles and 6 SRP for four-wheeled vehicles that do not have parking plots.
