Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of video learning media in conveying the concept of the 5 prohibited movements in prayer to Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah students. With advances in technology, the effective use of learning media can have a positive impact on the understanding and application of religious teachings, especially in the context of prayer which is the basic obligation of Muslims. This research aims to evaluate the extent to which the use of video learning media can increase students' understanding of the prohibitions on the 5 movements in prayer. The research method used involves an experimental research design with a control group and an experimental group. Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah students were divided into two groups, where one group received conventional learning, while the other group received learning through video media. Data was collected through pretests and posttests, observations, and questionnaires to measure students' understanding and involvement during the learning process. The results of the analysis show that video learning media is effective in increasing students' understanding of the concept of the 5 movements that are prohibited in prayer. Students who receive learning through video media show a significant increase in their understanding and awareness of correct prayer practices. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of using video learning media as an effective tool in supporting religious education in the Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah environment, with the potential to strengthen the foundation of Islamic religious teachings in students' daily lives.
