Abstract
The pile foundation serves to carry and hold the load on it, namely the load on the superstructure. Each foundation must be able to support loads up to a predetermined safety limit, including supporting the maximum load that may occur in the Serang–Panimbang Toll Development Project. The location under review is the head of the bridge overpass 23. The purpose of this study was to determine the axial bearing capacity, lateral bearing capacity and foundation settlement. Based on the results of the analysis of the bearing capacity of the drill pile on the head of the bridge overpass 23 Serang-Panimbang toll road which is planned with a configuration of 5 poles with a diameter of 0.8 m, the distance between drill piles is 2.5D, a depth of 17 m, obtained an Axial carrying capacity of 54.42 tons for a single drill pile and 235.69 Tons for group drill piles based on the Skempton method. Meanwhile, the lateral bearing capacity obtained is 82.25 tons for single drill pile clamping conditions and 356.17 tons for group drill piles using the Broms method. The horizontal deflection due to static load is 3.8 mm and 6 mm due to dynamic load. The decrease in the single drill pile that occurred was 6.93 mm and 3.69 mm for the group drill pile. Based on the calculation of the stability of the configuration, it is said to be stable to withstand the working load.
