Abstract
Neural models in the SISO and MIMO (two inputs - two outputs) cases of the anaerobic digestion of organic wastes stimulated by the addition of glucose have been developed on the basis of experimental data and generated data from a deterministic model of this process. The specialized software package NNSYSID20 for MATLAB 5.3 has been used for training and testing the neural models. The latter may be useful for the automatic control of the feed of polluting organics and of stimulating glucose
