Abstract

A general approach is suggested in this paper to predict both thermal segregation and radiation-induced segregation in alloys at steady-state conditions, when atomic fluxes tends to zero. Segregation profiles obtained may be transformed to the well known Langmyr-McLean equations for thermal segregation or to analytical expressions for stationary profiles caused by radiation-induced segregation. The procedure developed allows one to find, in analytic symmetric explicit form, steady-state segregation profiles in alloy with arbitrarily large finite number of components.
