Abstract

This article proposes the use of laser-generated Lr wave to quantitatively detect internal defects in materials. It analyzes the interaction between laser-generated Lr wave and internal defects in detail, considering that the scattered Lr wave generated at different positions of the internal defect reach different detection points, by analyzing the arrival times of the scattered Lr wave at different positions of the internal defect, it can effectively correct quantitative calculation of internal defects. The finite element simulation results show that this method can effectively quantitatively detect the size of internal defect, which provides an effective method for the quantitative detection of internal defects in materials.
