An Overview of the Study of Liu Yong in the Last Thirty Years

Abstract

Taking thirty years (1990-2020) as the scope, this paper conducts a brief overview and analysis of the scholarly studies on Liu Yong's life and Ci in Northern Song society, the discernment between elegance and vulgarity, and the causes of the tragedy in an attempt to restore a historically true and objective Liu Yong.
