Abstract
Wikis allow users to collaboratively create hypertext. However, complex relations among wiki pages cannot be expressed using hyperlinks. This paper presents an overview of a Spatial Hypertext Wiki (ShyWiki) which uses visual and spatial properties to represent implicit relations among wiki pages. Also, several of ShyWiki's applications to knowledge management and software engineering are presented.
