Abstract

Abstract An optically active cobalt(III) complex ion containing Co–C bond, (H2eedmp: 4,7-diaza-nonanoicacid; en: ethylenediamine), was prepared by the photolysis of (H2eddp: ethylenediamine-N,N′-dipropionic acid). This complex was stable and hardly racemized in an aqueous solution. A 13C NMR signal broadened by the Co–C spin-spin coupling was observed at −5.5 ppm.
