Abstract
Abstract. The purpose of this paper is to disclose the number of Cram School managers who enter employment with the government and begin a career because of their cram school management in Taiwan. Because of the current financial and economic crisis, people find that they are living in an unstable environment. People desire to have a stable career, and considering the fact that a private company may not offer constant stability, they are looking to the government for employment. Their reasoning is that employment with the government offers the stability they are seeking regardless of the economic crisis. They are looking for a career that will last until they retire. Many have tried several times to pass the exam in order to achieve their dream job. In 2011 there were 135,004 people who took the exam, but only 1.61% were offered a job. This research is based on personal interviews and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis.
