Abstract
Doped samples of Sr0.9Mn0.1Ti(1-X)NbxO3(x = 0.05,0.1) were prepared by using conventional solid-state synthesis technique. We reported the thermoelectric properties of STO (SrTiO3) affected due to the doping of Mn and Nb. XRD spectra of the samples were confirmed the single phase of STO. Electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient were measured simultaneously from RT to 1173 K. In this work, we discuss the reduction of sintering temperature and increment of power factor of STO by doping Mn and Nb. An almost 20% reduction in sintering temperature (from 1773 K to 1523 K) was noticed in the samples due to the Mn doping in the A site. An increase in Electrical conductivity was also observed due to replacing Nb5+ in the place of Ti4+. Mn doping distorts the unit-cell leads to extra accommodation of Nb5+ results in the increase in power factor.
