Abstract

The use of dubbing videos in teaching English speaking skills is popular now in English classes. This research study was conducted with the main aim to investigate students’ perception of the use of dubbing videos in English speaking classes at Academy of Policy and Development (APD) – a public university working under the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI). The research was completed with the participation of 50 first-year students and 50 second-year students. The research data were collected from a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and an in-depth interview. Through these results, some suggestions and recommendations have been provided in order to enhance APD students’ English-speaking skills by dubbing videos.
