Abstract
This research paper proposes a new indicator to evaluate the social response to the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide. This unique indicator is entitled "the society response to COVID-19 pandemic rate (SRCP rate)." The SRCP rate uses three steps: Step-I: the input table; Step-II: the calculation of indicators; Step-III: the graphical analysis. The step-I uses four variables: the total number of COVID-19 cases daily, the total number of COVID-19 recovered cases daily, the total number of COVID-19 active cases daily, and the total number of COVID-19 deaths daily. The step-II (the calculation of the indicators) is based on three indicators: the COVID-19 recovery rate, the COVID-19 damage rate, and the society response to COVID-19 pandemic rate. Step-III presents a 2-Dimensional graph and interactive maps to observe the three indicators' behavior. Finally, we applied the SRCP rate in thirty countries to analyze how any society is integrated and capable of going against the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
