Abstract
Dr. Jeffery is, for the year 1958-59, a member of the University of Chicago faculty where he is a Senior Fellow in the Law and the Behavioral Sciences program. He is on leave from Arizona State University where he is an Assistant Professor of Sociology. He is interested in law and the social sciences, and is currently engaged in a program of research in criminal law and criminology. Three articles of his have been published in earlier issues of this JOURNAL.-EDITOR.
