Abstract
AbstractAn integrated procedure is presented for the analysis of subsystem requirements and the explanation of software requirements to Software Engineers for implementation. The procedure is supported by the tailored use of a system requirements analysis tool, RDD‐100, used to develop the requirements descriptions, to provide traceability through the levels of analysis, and to support the automated production of System Requirements Specifications and Interface Requirements Specifications. The procedure was applied to a program and achievements are described.
